Mr. Spitzer has been involved in general practice of law since 1984, first as a partner in the firm formerly known as Keaton, Turner & Spitzer and then as a solo practitioner when he established The Spitzer Firm in 2004. Throughout his career, Mr. Spitzer has been involved in a general practice of law with focus on such areas of law as insurance defense, personal injury, business law, probate and estate, real estate, and family law. Mr. Spitzer is an agent for United General Title Insurance Company. For his outstanding achievements and contribution to the profession, Mr. Spitzer has been awarded an AV® rating in Martindale-Hubbell in 2003. The AV® rating is given to a lawyer with very high to preeminent legal ability, and is a reflection on the lawyer's expertise, experience, integrity and overall professional excellence. Mr. Spitzer is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association as well as a member of the Tennessee Bar Foundation, an organization that provides grants for organizations directly and indirectly involved in legal causes, such as crisis centers, abuse shelters, legal aide societies to mention just a few. Additionally, Mr. Spitzer is a member of Lewis County and Perry County Chambers of Commerce. Currently, Mr. Spitzer serves as an Administrative Law Judge, he is City Attorney for the City of Lobelville and City of Hohenwald, as well as delinquent tax attorney for Lewis County, and counsel for many local businesses and banks. Mr. Spitzer is a Member of First United Methodist Church of Hohenwald, Tennessee where he enjoys teaching an adult Sunday School Class. Mr. Spitzer is married to Mrs. Dana Boudreaux Spitzer. Mr. Spitzer has three children and three grand-children. |

Mr. Michael E. Spitzer has been engaged in the practice of law in Hohenwald, Tennessee, since 1984. He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from Memphis State University in 1981. Mr. Spitzer also holds a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Science with concentration in Educational Psychology from University of Tennessee at Martin. Additionally, Mr. Spitzer earned 45 additional hours above Master's degree with endorsements in Educational Administration and Supervision.
